This guide is intended to introduce you to the main policies of NULink, a customizable student calendar and information portal. For help with the site, please see the help page.

All ASG recognized student groups automatically have access to upload events to the NUlink calendar. For help uploading an event, see the help page. If your group is ASG recognized but does not have access, email asg-nulink@northwestern.edu with the name of your group and the Netid of the group’s president. If your group is officially recognized by a governing body on campus, but not by ASG, you are welcome to apply to be able to post NUlink events yourself. Download the application here. Events should be submitted to asg-nulink@northwestern.edu.

You can also email asg-nulink@northwestern.edu and ask us to post your event for you, however events must be submitted 72 hours before you wish them to be posted.

NUlink ad-space is available only to Northwestern Recognized groups. Student groups must email asg-nulink@northwestern.edu with the information below in order to have their ads posted. If your group is not an ASG recognized student group, please include your affiliation with the Northwestern community in your ad application so that we can verify your recognition on campus. Ads on NUlink are free and run for up to 7 days.

In order for your ad to appear in the moving slideshow at the top of the NUlink homepage, please follow these instructions:

• Ad dimensions are 162 pixels wide by 95 pixels tall. Improperly sized ads will not be accepted
• We accept JPEG or PNG format.
• Ads must link to a group/event/other website address
• Priority for Ad space is limited to two ads per group per quarter. Ads beyond this quota will be considered for placement only if space is available.
• Email the following to asg-nulink@northwestern.edu by 10 pm on Saturday the week before your ad is to run.

  • University Affiliation (recognition on campus)

All ads will be uploaded for the entire week on Sunday. Ads that are sent outside this window (i.e. ads sent on Tuesday for Wednesday posting) will definitely NOT be posted until the following Sunday. No exceptions will be granted. Rude comments do not increase the probability that your events will be posted. Please remember that we are students too.
